As a community project aimed at bringing job opportunities to North St. Louis, the Harriet Tubman Career Center will make a positive impact in the community. Established by long-time community leader William "Bill" Monroe, the center provides essential job readiness training, career counseling, and job placement assistance to underserved communities, such as single mothers, veterans, and ex-offenders. The center's commitment to empowering and uplifting the community echoes Harriet Tubman's own ideals.
