Center of Promise

The Harriet Tubman Career Center is a vision of a non-profit organization dedicated to providing job skills development, career counseling, and job placement opportunities to underserved individuals.

The center will implement a number of programs to assist individuals who have been affected by systemic inequality. This includes educational programs, training, and skill-building workshops that are designed to help communities that have experienced marginalization, such as single mothers, youth, veterans, and ex-offenders.

The center's commitment to empowering and uplifting the community echoes Harriet Tubman's own ideals. Through her work with the Underground Railroad, Tubman assisted many individuals in escaping from slavery, showing them that they have the power to break free from oppression. She also established schools and nursing homes for African Americans, providing them with education and medical care.
